What is Bangladesh?
According to the urban dictionary, culture is a set of collective beliefs, customs, and shared history. Bengali culture takes place in Bangladesh and various parts of India. Let's take a dive into the history of Bangladesh.
Throughout British Imperialism, India was divided into two countries: Pakistan and India. Bangladesh was originally under Pakistan rule and was named "East Pakistan." However, rebellion started to suffice in mid 1900s where Bangladesh wanted to become an independent nation. The official date of Independence for Bangladesh is March 26, 1971, where the former prime minister Bangabandhu declared Bangladesh free. Following this event there was a war between Bangladesh and Pakistan in that lasted until December 16, 1971
